Approach to Psychodiagnostic Evaluation

Dr. DeHaven views psychodiagnostic evaluation as a tool for self-understanding and advocacy. She prioritizes the client’s perspective and adopts a strengths-based, culturally-informed approach to testing and interpretation. Dr. DeHaven’s main goal is to come alongside her clients to together search for answers to their questions and to provide applicable recommendations for next steps post-evaluation.

Outside the Office:

When she’s not working, Dr. DeHaven loves to spend time outside hiking, running, and amateur birdwatching. In the rainy months, you’ll often find her crocheting for her nieces and nephews, losing to her spouse at MarioKart, or reading. Dr. DeHaven also enjoys attending community events and is rejuvenated by staying in connection to justice efforts that promote human flourishing.
