She provides individual and family therapy for children age 12 and younger, specializing in Play Therapy. She provides therapy under the supervision of Dr. Daryl Hitchcock.
Approach to Therapy
Chloe provides strengths-based therapy, meeting clients and families where they're at and empowering change through collaboration, coaching, and communication within the family as a whole. With a focus on strengthening parent-child relationships and reducing challenging behaviors, Chloe strives to provide caregivers with skills and opportunities to practice responding to their child through a balance of understanding and accountability.
Chloe believes in the healing power of play, whether through music, movement, imaginative play, or other creative expression, and specializes in Play Therapy, including Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) for children under age 7. Play Therapy supports children's emotion regulation, capacity for language, and is responsive to individual and family differences, while allowing the child to develop self-confidence and positive self-regard.
Outside the Office
Originally from Boise, Idaho, she has lived in Florida, Japan, Virginia, and Washington State, and loves to travel. When she's not working, Chloe loves to dance, hula-hoop, make art, and spend time with her three cats - usually watching the birds.
