Brenda Shein
Brenda Shein, MSEd is a pre-licensed, pre-doctoral psychology student currently completing her doctoral training in Counseling Psychology at Purdue University. Working under the supervision and guidance of Dr. Ashley Taylor, she primarily provides comprehensive psychological evaluations for adults. Brenda brings a wealth of experience from her work in diverse community and clinical mental health settings, where she has continued to hone her skills in conducting thorough assessments and providing therapeutic support to a wide range of clients.
Drawing from her doctoral training and deep interests in understanding the impact of trauma, adversity, and resilience through a developmental and socio-cultural lens, Brenda adopts a relational, systems-informed, and collaborative approach in her work. She is committed to creating a supportive environment where individuals can gain a deeper understanding of their unique strengths and challenges. Through the assessment process, Brenda aims to help clients feel more informed, empowered, and in greater control of their lives, ultimately fostering self-advocacy and progress towards their desired goals.
